- The method
- Build the case. Then file the claim.
- The promise
- Evidence. Rules. Execution.
The Veteran's Bearing teaches veterans to understand the case behind the claim, not just the forms in front of them. Deeper frameworks, tools, and coaching develop that understanding further.
02 / The Idea of Bearing
Get your bearings before choosing your direction. Understanding where you stand begins with the evidence, the rules governing it, and how the case has been developed.
03 / The 3 Dimensions
VA Claims Are 3-Dimensional.
VA disability cases are not one question. They are three interacting questions: what do the medical facts show, what rules govern those facts, and how should the veteran think about development and positioning?
Medical/Clinical Evidence, Legal Framework, and Strategic Execution work together. A claim is only as strong as its weakest dimension.
What does the evidence show?
Diagnosis, severity, functional impact, treatment, and the documentation that shows them.
- = Evidence
What do the rules require?
Statutes, regulations, rating criteria, and precedential case law.
- = Rules
How should the case be developed and positioned?
Development, positioning, timing, evidence gaps, and reassessment.
- = Direction
04 / The Method
Build the Case. Then File the Claim.
A diagnosis alone is not a developed claim. A regulation alone does not create evidence. Strategy connects the medical record to the governing requirements and determines what needs development before the next move.

Filing is not the same as developing.
The law cannot apply to evidence that does not exist.
Strong claims require more than forms.
05 / Find Your Bearing
Don't know where to begin?
You do not need to know which regulation, benefit, or product applies to you. Begin with what is true about your situation, and we will point you toward the education that fits.

Next step
Before you choose a direction, understand your position.
Most veterans are taught how to file a claim. The Veteran's Bearing teaches them how to understand the case behind the claim. Start with the education, or book a conversation to see whether deeper coaching fits.
